We spent our second day at Amara Sanctuary Resort by having a long leisure breakfast then a maternity photo shoot in our room. Hubby was the photographer and he took many shots of my big tummy. Who says we need to employ professional photographer?
Thereafter, a swim at our Larkhill Suite, right at our doorstep. (See the third opened door at the far end, that's our room.) Our pool is almost private because nobody was there with us. I swam 12 laps then we went to the jacuzzi for a while.
After the swim, we walked to take the monorail to where the Malaysian Food Street was, to have our lunch. Hubby wanted to try Penang Laksa and Char Kway Kak. So we did! Not forgetting our usual Penang Char Kway Teow.
After food, we went to Starbucks to grab a drink each. And we witness how a baby fell out of the pram and got a big bump on her forehead. Gosh! I almost cried...
Anyway, initially hubby wanted to go to the beach to watch sunset together. However, he knew that I was tired. So we went back to our room to rest instead. After that, hubby actually prepared the bath tub for us to soak in. I love soaking in the tub! Especially love the heart to heart talk and talking about anything under the sun together.
I was surprised that this tub can take 2 person! It will be great if we can have one at our future home.
After this, we went to Thanying for our dinner. Their food never fails. Only thing was, they don't serve the Thai rice crackers which they did at the Tanjong Pagar outlet. The restaurant was pretty empty and it looks as if we had booked the whole place. We ordered an extra spicy tom yum to share. It was really very spicy! We could see the chilli seeds floating in the bowl at the beginning and how they were left behind when the soup was gone! Our lips were swollen and red after that.
We had the rest of our romantic night back in our room.
On the last day, we had a short breakfast, then went back to room to rest for a while before I went for another 12 laps at the pool.
After that, we soaked in our bath tub again. Took a short nap and it was time to check out.
I really enjoyed myself thoroughly with hubby this weekend and I love spending time with him.
